Will Van De Crommert is a Minneapolis-based composer for film and television, known for scores that bring orchestral weight and emotional depth to character-driven stories.

His feature film work spans genre and tone — from the Western thriller End of the Rope (Saban) to the intimate period drama Hazel’s Heart (Samuel Goldwyn Films) — and his music has appeared in productions for Netflix, Peacock, BET, NBC, BBC, and CNN, among others. He has composed for over a dozen music publishers including Universal, APM, and BMG, and his work has placed on Saturday Night Live!, the Olympic Games, and the NFL, reaching millions of listeners across the world.

Will studied music composition before moving to Los Angeles, where he worked under veteran composer Jeff Rona (Gladiator, Black Hawk Down). He has since returned to Minneapolis, where he maintains a full scoring practice and has spoken on film and music at institutions including Gobbler Music in Hollywood and the MSP International Film Festival.

He brings a bombastic orchestral, experimental, and rock-infused approach to underscore — and a deep belief that the best film scores are an inseparable part of the stories they support.
